LeClerc makes comeback with WIN in Austria!!

Ferrari's much-needed win came this past weekend in Austria. The driver was followed by Verstappen and Hamilton. This weekend was also the second sprint weekend of the year, with Max winning that and gaining the 8 extra points. When VER pitted early race was when LeClerc overtook him, from that stage on it was mainly LeClerc who led. VER was getting by the other Ferrari driver. Sainz was hot on his trails but was forced to retire due to a fire. This shows us that Ferrari hasn't fully resolved their reliability issues.

With Sainz's retirement came Hamilton's promotion up to the last podium place. This made his 3rd consecutive podium, showing Mercedes definitely have a consistent pace. Knowing that it is high time that Russel gets his first win soon. In such a competitive car, he has shown he has the pace but has yet to get the win.

As LeClerc inches closer to Verstappen in the championship, Perez looks to get himself back into the fight as well. Currently, he is only 19 points off from LeClerc. With only 2 races left until summer break, it is crucial for Ferrari to continue their wins and keep RedBull behind them if they want to win the championship. See you next week in France!
