Max Verstappen had a pretty clear-cut race as pole-sitter LeClerc crashed out, paving the way for him. LeClerc should have had a win this weekend but due to another driver error, he crashed out on lap 19. The Ferrari driver is losing quite the amount of points between driver error, strategy mistakes, and car issues. VER was shockingly followed by the silver arrows! Mercedes had been relatively fast all weekend and with some good strategy got rewarded a double podium (P2 - Ham, P3 - Rus). Perez was hot on Russel's heels which led to a great battle all the way to the checkered flag. He ended up with P4.

Driver of the Day went to a worthy Sainz. He started P19 due to engine replacement, but that didn't stop him as he rampaged through the grid on Sunday. Just after 14 laps, he had made his way into the points. An unsafe pitstop gave him a 5 second time penalty and he finished a brilliant P5. Sainz hauled in a good amount of points considering his situation in an otherwise disappointing weekend for Ferrari.

With only one more race before the drama of summer break, Ferrari must get a win for LeClerc if they want a easier time in the second half of the season. Thanks for reading and I'll see you next week in Hungary!
