It's the season of street tracks here in F1. We started off at the iconic Monaco - which Red Bull's Sergio Perez won. It is his first win this season and his third of all time.

As always Monaco is always about qualifying more than the actual race as the track is very narrow, this limits the amount of

overtaking possible. Luckily this year we had some rain on track which allowed for a more entertaining Sunday. On Saturday, pole went to home star LeClerc, then partner Sainz, Perez, Verstappen, Norris, so on. LeClerc leaded for quite a few laps until him and Sainz pitted for Inters. This gave the lead to Perez, once both teams had done double-stacks the order was PER, SAI, VER, LEC.

At this point Perez was expected to cruise to victory but Schumacher's huge crash brought out the red-flags allowing SAI to hunt for the victory. At the last turns it seemed as if SAI could take the victory but PER held on and won the race by a mere 1.5 sec over Sainz.

Overall this race proved to be a typical Monaco race, but could also prove crucial in the Drivers Championship as this win launched Perez back into the battle. With both Red Bull's in the contending for the championship it will be interesting to be see how RB go about their strategies. Next up is another iconic street track - Baku. See you next week!
