SAINZ wins in Silverstone!!

Carlos Sainz is now a F1 race winner. On his 150th start, he converted his maiden pole into his first victory. Following him came Perez, Hamilton, and then LeClerc. Perez drove valiantly through the field after having early contact with Zhou and Albon in the race. Both were taken to the medical center and have been cleared. The crash also caused Russel to retire. In the final laps, there was an amazing battle between LeClerc and Hamilton to see who would take the last podium place, which Hamilton took. This broke many records including how many podiums a driver has taken at the same track.

Championship leader Max finished a disappointing 7th after taking damage early in the race, this is not saying he did not have some good fights. Haas's Schumacher took P8 taking his very first points in F1.

It's safe to say that this has been one of the most entertaining and enjoyable races this season. With Ferrari getting back in the mix let's see what they can do in Austria!
